Off to NM, NY and back on a boat.

Just finished packing.  Tomorrow Albuquerque, NM (thank god for spell checker, never been able to spell that), then NYC on Thursday and on Bob's boat back to FL from Charleston on the 9th.  I thought Albuquerque was hot.  Forecast is for 30s at night and not above 69 during the day.  NYC's highs are 50's.  Don't know how to pack for this.  Gonna freeze my a_____off.  I've got'n used to Flip Flops, Tee Shirts and sunglasses. Photos of 1st day of the Cocoa Beach Air Show

Image
The Cocoa Beach Air Show features aerobatics, a race with the GEICO Racing Boat team, loud jets and demonstration by the Thunderbirds.  Kind of a bumpy day on the water, but otherwise just great, temperature low 80s, winds ENE at 10-15, seas 4-6ft.     See and download the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Captain Richard Burton

Sailing off Cape Canaveral

Image
Again a gorgeous day.  Caught about a 3 foot long King Mackerel which of course got away as we tried to bring it into the boat. Was too busy to take photos.  Sailboats are not really fishing boats and it is not that easy to land a big fish, especially when it has teeth and the captain and crew are sailors and not fishermen.  Next time though this captain sails with a good sharp gaff.  Anyway  temperature was mid 80s, winds out of the ESE at 12 to 15 and seas about 3-4ft.  Back at the dock caught an angel fish which of course went back in, then a flounder which was my dinner.     See and download the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Captain Richard's Posterous Blog

Yesterday was a Great day at Port Canaveral

Image
With a pod of dolphins playing around, turtles, our local manatees stopping in for a drink, and a late day kayak run, it was a great day for me and China in Port Canaveral.   ---------- Forwarded message ---------- See and download the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Captain Richard's Posterous Blog

I think this is a SCAM for Facebook - Beware

"I cant believe this actually works! Now you really can see who views your profile!!!"   If you click onto it you have to like it and post it to your page.  This way they collect lots of peoples profiles, phone numbers, etc.  I would not do it.   Posted via email from Captain Richard's Posterous Blog
